Its waterproof, breathable membrane keeps water out while allowing moisture vapour to escape, helping reduce moisture build-up within upholstered seating in humid environments. High UV resistance helps preserve colour and resist fading, making EXO a durable choice for outdoor and marine settings.

How does Alcantara EXO perform outdoors?
Alcantara EXO uses a layered outdoor structure: a soft Alcantara surface on top, a waterproof membrane beneath it, and a backing layer for stability. Thanks to its waterproof- transpirant membrane, the water could not peremate it while the vapour can be transpired in case of the humidity inside the sofa. As an outdoor material, EXO has excellent performance on UV resistance to retain seats colors and prevent color fading.
